From the being 16 um, After all 21 going to shows in DC and smirking at the “previous” people lurking like they had any company holding with a number of teenagers. How horrible, my friends and I would say-don’t they understand they are OLD and don’t fit here? It just felt therefore gloomy that they had number living besides trying to blend in with a number of kiddies half their age darkmode for reddit.
Ok, therefore yes, I have because been that horrible adult at a club trying to act like I belonged there…but I digress.
Nowadays it appears as though the world-including the business enterprise world-is being led by the “younger set” (30 and under), placing “previous” people like me (older than 30…to use it mildly) in a bizarre place. That you do not desire to be the wannabe “great” parent who’s “down” with the changing times and all that, in this very day and era, it seems that maybe not performing just that might ultimately cripple your career.
Like, I was writing a media piece at the job today and relating to a story on a well-known website. There, under the title was the now-requisite strip of icons: little leaf, “f” in a blue package, little cartoon baby experience, little red square-you know, the ones that look somewhere on more and more website pages of kinds. A few of these points I presently know-the red square suggests RSS (although the reader portion remains only a little questionable to me), the “f” represents Facebook, and I know the phrases Digg and technorati even though I can not identify to you exactly what they mean. In fact, I use them in my website and STILL can not really tell you what they mean.
